VAS Ltd Show Award Nominations Extended to 30th April 2025

VAS Ltd Show Awards nominations have been extended to 30th April 2025 to allow societies more time to nominate. We encourage show societies to get involved in the inaugural year of the Show Awards.

It is a very simple nomination process and a great way to recognise the work of show societies.

The People’s Choice award will be an opportunity to get all your local show enthusiasts to vote for you show society. Voting will open this Friday 11th April. The link will be sent around plus available on the website and promoted on Social Media so it is important to share through your channels to give your show society the chance to win the People’s Choice Award.

The Awards & Presentations will be announced during the annual VAS Ltd Convention Dinner held in conjunction with the Victorian Agricultural Shows Annual General Meeting weekend. The Awards is an opportunity for the industry to come together and celebrate the outstanding achievements within our movement.

2025 VAS Ltd Convention Location & Date

The VAS Ltd Board is proud to announce that the 2025 VAS Convention will be held in Bendigo on the weekend of 11th – 13th July 2025.

As no Group or Society came forward to host the convention the VAS Ltd Board will run the Convention as they have done in previous years.

More information will be available in the coming weeks including the timetable.

Luke will represent Victoria at the 2025 ASA National Finals in South Australia at the Adelaide Royal Show.

Dairy Cattle Parading & Judging State Finals

In a weeks time the State Finals will be held at International Dairy Week on the 19th January.

The Parading State Final kicks off at 2pm and the Judging will start after the paraders is complete approximately 2.30pm.

If you are wanting to compete you can register on the day. A reminder you must be between the ages of 15 years & under 25 years and must reside in Victoria.

VAS hopes you have a very enjoyable festive season and please be safe during this time! We are looking forward to what's to come for the 2025 show season and look forward to working with you all in the new year!

The office will be closed the main public holidays but will be available throughout the festive period due to the upcoming Saddle Horse Championships event on the 4th & 5th January.

2025 VAS Ltd Apiam Saddle Horse Championships - Schedule Available

The 2025 VAS Ltd Apiam Saddle Horse Championships schedule is now available for viewing along with online entries available to enter. Entries close 17th December 2024 11:59pm.

The championships aims to celebrate the Victorian agricultural show season for 2024 and reward those that have competed and supported the many agricultural shows across the state. We do feature 5 state finals at the championships, which are Good Hands, Alabar Hero Series, Off The Track Led Open, Led Show Hunter, Ridden Open, Ridden Show Hunter Series.

Its an event for all enthusiastic country show exhibitors, who have qualified and we are excited for the 2025 championships!
